8th Annual Brockport Smiles Sports Mouthguard Event!

It's that time of year again—summer is winding down, and the excitement for fall sports is heating up!

Brockport Smiles recently hosted our 8th Annual Sports Mouthguard Event, and we couldn't be more proud! This year, we welcomed 51 local athletes from Modified, JV, and Varsity teams to help protect their winning smiles. 

Each athlete received a custom-fabricated sports mouthguard and learned the importance of protecting their teeth on the field. Over the years, this event has become a favorite tradition for us. While we love giving back to our community in many ways, this sports mouthguard event has a special place in our hearts. Providing custom sports guards helps these athletes perform confidently and supports their long-term oral health.

During our youth, so much more than athletic skill is developing—healthy smiles are, too! Mouthguards play a crucial role in protecting teeth, gums, and even orthodontic investments from damage caused by sports. 

The American Dental Association has found that wearing a mouthguard significantly reduces the risk of injuries to the teeth and soft tissues during contact sports like football.
