Thanksgiving is another way we express our feelings of gratitude in November. No matter your race or religion, Thanksgiving allows us to celebrate our blessings together. We appreciate our bountiful food, friendships and family connections. This time of year is full of reminders about how we can express our gratitude.

As this season of sharing and caring begins, think about what you and your family are grateful for, and how you can bless someone else’s life in a meaningful way. 

How to Express Gratitude 

There are many benefits of gratitude!

Expressing gratitude not only changes how you feel about your own life, it can make you happier and bring our community together. 

There are many ways to express our gratitude, too.  It can be as easy as taking a phone call from someone lonely,  or volunteering time to visit a senior’s home, or sharing with our loved ones what we’re thankful for. 

 One of the best ways to express gratitude is by sharing what we have with others who may be struggling. This has been a hard year for many in our community.

We’re inviting you to partner with us and Hamlin Life Solutions in a food drive. Let’s work together to help meet the needs of local families who may be struggling.

• Corn muffin mix
• Canned yams/sweet potato gravy
