Brockport Smiles dental practice partnered with Battle Sports Science to help some of Brockport’s finest varsity lacrosse players to protect their smiles! The 24 young ladies and 19 young gentlemen joined us in our office to enjoy cookies and brownies and learn more about the benefits of mouthguards.

For the past two years, Dr. Thaney and the Brockport Smiles team have hosted this event as an opportunity to provide custom Battle Brand athletic guards. We view it as our way to give back to our community and protect the smiles of our future. To contribute a little fun with the lesson in safety, this year we raffled off four Amerks tickets to anyone that followed our Instagram! We’re sure the winner enjoyed seeing the Amerks (and their mouthguards) in action!

We encourage young athletes to consider mouthguards a part of their preventative care routine just like brushing and flossing their teeth!
