Brockport Smiles is proud to care for the smiles of Brockport. Dr Thaney and the entire team at Brockport Smiles feel incredibly privileged and thankful to be such a big part of the local community. On Saturday December 8th we attended The College at Brockport's Annual Winter Gala!

A Helping Hand for Brockport Students

The winter Gala is an event held annually which raises funds to support The College at Brockport students and help make scholarships possible that provide affordable higher education opportunities for students in need. Amazingly this year the gala collectively raised $153,000 in support of student success—which equated to 36 scholarships for deserving students! A record breaking amount from the past 4 Gala Events!

A Great Night

The Brockport Smiles team enjoyed an evening of entertainment, inspiration, philanthropy and of course gourmet food and drinks at The Rochester Riverside Convention Center. The keynote speech was delivered by Jaime Casap- class of 1991. Jaime is the Chief Education Evangelist at google. His speech focused on the importance of education as it related to breaking the poverty cycle. His keynote address was inspiring and insightful sprinkled with lots of humor!

Brockport Smiles is proud to be a part of such a terrific community and feels lucky to have The College at Brockport- and all the resources they offer to the people of our community so close by!
