Brockport Holiday of Lights Parade Sunday Dec 2nd

Wed, Dec 5th, 2018

At Brockport Smiles we love to keep active within the community! Brockport Smiles competed in their 4th annual Brockport Holiday Lights Spectacular Parade and tree lighting! Our theme this year was a play on the Elf movie staring Will Farrell. True to character Dr Thaney even agreed to wear the full costume including the tights!

It was an uncharacteristically warm Sunday evening for the annual Brockport Festival of Lights Parade which was sponsored by the Brockport Police Department's Stetson club. Hundreds lined Main Street to see and hear over thirty groups all decked out in Christmas lights march in the parade. Many came early to eat at local restaurants and do some Christmas shopping with many of the downtown merchants and vendors.

Save the date for next year! Join in the festive fun at the Holiday Lights Spectacular Parade

Mark your calendars! The parade always takes place on the first Sunday in December. The parade line up begins by the hospital and ends in front of the Brockport Diner where the Christmas tree will be lit, so grab a spot along the route! It's a wonderful activity to partake in with your family and is especially geared towards kids! The event concludes with a spectacular fireworks display that you don't want to miss! Our only advice is to dress warmly and get there early to save yourself a spot because the sidewalks sure fill up fast!
